Minister of State for Foreign Affairs 

During my official visit to the Maldives, I had the great honour of meeting today in Malé H.E. Ahmed Khaleel, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. I received the official accreditation as Honorary Consul of the Maldives in Flanders from the Government of the Maldives, to whom I express my deep gratitude. During the meeting, I outlined to Mr Khaleel the activities I intend to carry out as Honorary Consul in order to raise the visibility of The Maldives and promote the country as a sustainable tourism and investment destination.
